Our Links with Church and School

St. Jude’s Church Nursery is part of St. Jude’s Church’s mission in Southsea offering subsidised places to families of all faiths and none. We are also closely linked to St. Jude’s Primary School.

We have regular visits from clergy and staff from St Jude’s Church in which they share stories and songs with the children. We celebrate Christmas with our Nativity play, which is performed for the parents and have an Easter celebration which is again attended by families.

The Nursery

Our Management Team

The Nursery is owned and run by St. Jude’s Church Southsea. It is overseen by a Nursery School Management Committee comprising of members of the Church PCC, elected parent representative, Treasurer and Nursery Leaders. A parent representative is elected to serve on this committee. We also welcome parents as helpers, giving them the opportunity to help on a regular basis in one of the groups within the nursery. A parent’s committee is available and is always happy to welcome new members to help with fundraising and school activities.
